Kites!!

At school we have been making and designing kites with our buddy. My buddy is Celeste,our kite is shaped like a diamond. We had a booklet which we wrote information about our kite in ,we also put pictures in the booklet. The wind kept ripping our kite when test flying so we put lots of tape on it. The whole syndicate had a competition to see whose kite would stay in the air the longest. A pair of boys from room 5 won.We are going to have a technology kite expo.  Here is a picture of my buddy and I holding our kite.

Wharariki beach.

In the holidays I went to  Wharariki beach at Golden Bay. When we  arrived  there were two peacocks greeted us. I hand fed one of them.It was a very long walk, all the trees looked windswept. When we got there we ran  towards a cave. Then suddenly we stopped! 'Shh' whispered my Emily and there right in front of us was one of cutest seal pup ever.
