My pets

My pets are two guinea pigs. One of them  is black and white. His name is Coco. The other one is called Chocolate Brownie. He is brown and has red eyes.Coco has black eyes. They both live in a big hutch, that my dad built. We move them once a week to new grass.                    

Ice Skating at the Shopping Mall

On Monday afternoon we went to the shopping mall, on the subway.  We went into a toyshop called Toys-R-Us, then we went to the hard toy section.  I got a black horse, a white streak down his nose and four white hooves.  I named her Black Beauty.  We also got an old English sheepdog for our friend Xiang Xiang.


After that we went ice skating in big rink.  I did twenty laps around the rink.  For a while daddy didn't skate because his skates were to sore.  Then we had to get off because a machine was coming onto the rink.

Escalators!

Escalators are stairs that move up and down.  In China there are lots of escalators; so you don’t have to climb many stairs. When we went to the shopping mall with our friend Xiang Xiang there were more than sixteen escalators!  You can even get flat escalators.  At the subway there are no escalators that go down, only ones that go up.

Trip to China.

Soon we are going on a trip to China.We are going to stay in Nanjing.My Chinese grandparents will be there.We will be there for six weeks.Then we will go to Auckland. We'll be going to Auckland Zoo.

My toys.

My toys are called Jing Jing,Daisy,Sweetie and Lily. Jing Jing,Daisy and Sweetie are dogs.Lily is a cat.
Lily is grey.Sweetie is flowery.Daisy is brown and black. Jing Jing is white and black.

My house.

There is a river near  our house.Also there is a swimming pool.My
house has a trampoline.We like going to the library.The guinea pigs have a big cage at home.
